West Coast rapper The Game is currently in the studio recording for his awaited new project The R.E.D. Album.

The album will be released across United States on December 1 and is the follow-up to 2008's L.A.X. The former G-Unit artist will go head-to-head with Alicia Keys who will release her effort The Element of Freedom and R. Kelly with his new album Untitled.

Yo! Raps has learned that The R.E.D. Album will feature an A-List of producers including Timbaland, J.R. Rotem, Drumma Boy, and Cool and Dre. Features with Lil Wayne, Young Buck, Pharrell, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Nas and Gucci Mane can be expected, according to sources.

"The R.E.D. Album, people think the R.E.D. stands for gangbanging. I am what I am. ... R.E.D. - that's rededicated. Rededicated to Hip-Hop ... to my hood, Compton. Rededicated to my family, rededicated to everything," The Game says about the album title.
